Notts travelled to Staffordshire showground with several regular players unavailable. Many thanks to all those who played, especially those forced into unfamiliar partnerships.

I am pleased to have recorded my first victory as captain, with the 1st team winning 18-2. The 2nd team (lost 0-20) and 3rd team (lost 3-17) were not so successful.
