The NTBC hold a duplicate pairs evening every Wednesday night at Nottingham Bridge Club starting at 7.00pm. The competitions held over the year are listed below.
The programme consists (apart from the individual Championship) of pairs events. Any members may participate in any session of these events.
If you want to challenge the best players in the county, this is the place to be. Table fees are £2.00.

The Priday Cup

The Priday Cup is awarded to the player with the best 5 scores (obtained with at least two different partners) out of the 8 sessions.

The first session for the Priday Cup this year is March 26th.

The Black Cup and the Farr Cup

The Black Cup and the Farr Cup are mixed pairs and similar pairs competitions held on alternate Wednesdays.
Other pairs may play, but do not qualify for the trophies.
In each, the pair with the best 5 scores out of 9 sessions is awarded the trophy.

The Individual Championship

The Individual Championship is held on a single session in January.

The Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup is awarded to the player with the best 6 scores out of the 10 sessions.

The Butler IMP Competition

The Butler IMP Competition does not have an overall champion, instead weekly prizes of 20 and 10 are awarded to the leading pairs (This is dependent on the number of pairs attending).

Simultaneous Pairs

In addition to the Competition programme, the NTBC also participates in the Bridge Great Britain Simultaneous Pairs Events held in the Spring, Autumn and Winter.
